Entry Description

A highlight reel comprised of work done by one student across a school year (and summer) In addition to being shot, it was also colored by the same student.

Judge 1

Positives: Nice use of slider. Good DOF shots. Good quality camera. Framing was thought out.

Improvements: Would like to hear some sound pops from a few of the scenes. Knife shot at the end was to dark. Maybe a better choice of scene would be better.

Judge 2

Positives: A very nice variety of shot motion and lighting technique. Tracking shots were well-composed, and there was clear artistic intent within several shots, including the knife reveal, and concert footage. Good music selection.

Improvements: With handheld material, try using a different handheld rig to improve the "DSLR / Rolling Shutter" seen within a couple documentary-style shots. A couple of these shots were a little too jittery.
