Entry Description

FHS has a beloved security guard, Peggy Watson. She is affectionately known as PWats. This year she went through the sudden death of 3 family members within a month and still came back to work with a smile on her face for the kids. She always has their best interest at heart and the students know it. As a surprise the video production students created a PWats appreciation day. This original music video was part of that day. The song and lyrics are original and was produced by students in our digital music lab.

Judge 1

Positives: Very interesting story. Really good lip syncing and editing. Flowed really nice.

Improvements: The intro seemed to go on a little too long. Some cuts drag on a little too long and start to become boring.

Judge 2

Positives: It has nothing to do with judging a video, but this was a very nice tribute to someone who is obviously important to the school. Given that your sound track was an original, the judging of sound mattered more in your work than most, and you did a nice job with it. Never before have I seen someone dance while playing a basoon. Very impressive!

Improvements: While your shots had some variation, it would have been nice to see some other elements or completely different scenes to help tell your story. Everything was either "PWats" at work or the singer walking through the school. Another element would have given your piece more energy.
