This is Franklin High School's weekly newscast. In this episode the students highlight our Saber Pride. This is the school's positive behavior initiative. All the stories revolve around being respectful, responsible and engaged.

Judge 1

Positives: Great production value in this newscast from the opening shot to the very end of the newscast. Loved seeing the background shots of the control room and the camera crew. The newscast did a good job of illustrating the Saber Pride positive behavior initiative. The pieces had good bites and good nat sot. The Fresh Prince spoof at the end was a fun way of highlighting coming to school on time.

Improvements: The anchors are likable but a little flat. Liked the reporter packages, but it would have been nice to have reporter sign offs at the end of the pieces. That would have helped with the transitions back to the anchors.
