Judge 1

Positives: Great story and concept! I loved the fake surveillance camera. Really gave an interesting element to it. Also really good lighting in general.

Improvements: Camera work can be improved and a little less shakey (Unless thats the style you are going for of course) Editing can be faster and on beat more.

Judge 2

Positives: I liked the POV through the camcorder effect - really contributed to the voyeuristic feeling of her spying on them. Some cool locations, too. I liked how you tried to show the girl's propensity for violent behavior a few times, with the confrontation at the lockers, and the vandalism at the construction site. Might have shown more of this earlier (eg smashing the camcorder) to make the murder more believable.

Improvements: Some lip-sync problems here and there, and some out-of focus shots that were distracting. Though there were parts of her performance that were strong, I wasn't convinced of the girl's psychotic nature, so had a hard time believing that she would murder the other girl. It might have been more ominous if you had ended with her inviting the other girl into the house without showing the murder. I think what might have been missing from the narrative was some back-story between the boy and the angry girl. Their fight in the hallway was well-done, but a flashback to their relationship in the past might have helped explain her behavior in the present.
