E-Society is a film that follows Jonas on the path of education in a technologically corrupted society.

Judge 1

Positives: The concept was really fun. Lighting was obviously well thought out, and the day for night worked well. Editing was smooth, frame composition was pretty solid.

Improvements: The setting of a classroom seemed odd (why all the desks if just one person?). Would have had more impact if he had a higher number to start with. Then the next incarnation, being 1 digit higher, would give an "ah-ha" moment to the viewer - a quick way of showing there were hundreds - thousands - of previous 'attempts.' Overall though, well done and thought out.

Positives: WOW what an amazing story. very very strong message. I loved the futuristic vibe you set, but then tied it to the modern world. had my attention the whole time.

Improvements: Every shot had meaning, but man I just wish you had a set dresser. I wanted that classroom to have only one desk in it, and have a cold empty feel to it. it would have drove home your message even more. the vocal pattern on the projection screen, it seemed like you wanted a future feeling to it. what you should have done is keep the projection screen rolled up and have the waveform just projecting onto the white board as if the board was a big Ipad type device.
