Entry Description

The inspiration for this video was fun and pure friendship! The snow and artificial sun (at the title scene) gives off a whiter pure feeling to show the happiness of these two "bros". Take a break from the deep and emotional music videos to enjoy this one!

Judge 1

Positives: The opening shot did a great job setting up the themes of the video. It told the story simply and beautifully. It was very iconic. I love the concept of the narrative and the technique by which story was told. It was cool how explored the relationship of two friends sharing intimate moments like having a pillow fight, sliding down slides, and holding hands in the gazebo.

Improvements: It seemed like the video was shot with all natural and available light, which is great-- but there are things that you can do to help control the light in a way that enhances the story. For Example- during the pillow fight that took place in the bedroom, the window is completely white while the two characters are dark. It is distracting and takes away form the central theme of the video. ' What you could have done is bounced light on the actors using something as simple as a bed sheet. How you do that is by spreading out the white bedsheet in the light that is coming through the window so that light hits off it and reflects onto the characters.
