Entry Description

A troubled students receives a few nasty text messages and begins to feel low about himself. Looking for an escape he realizes he's trapped.

Judge 1

Positives: The information given was helpful. The black and white video helps convey the somberness of the topic.

Improvements: More camera shots! Use more camera angles, placement, movements, etc. It seemed like there were maybe 5 total shots used. Get a big variety of shots (close ups, medium, wide, pans, zooms, POV, etc.) and edit them in to help tell the message you are trying to convey.

Judge 2

Positives: Editing and the dramatic lighting worked well for the story. I liked how you shot the cell phone and did the fade.

Improvements: Lower the music, it made it difficult to hear the voice over.
