Positives: This is the first drama I have seen in this competition so far that actually tries to take itself seriously. The director did a good job of giving the audience a good idea of what this movie is about. This is a performance driven piece, which I like. I appreciate that it doesn't depend on flashy, quick edits to engage the audience.

Improvements: The shirt the actress was wearing in the beginning was distracting. I know this isn't a huge deal, but it is something young people looking to be in this industry need to learn. Patterns, especially tight stripes and plaid are hard for the camera to pick up, causing a weird effect that ends up distracting the audience. The filters on the shots don't work. They may look cool, but filters tend to be used to imply things about a story. Like, black and white implies a flash back and the brown filter almost gives a "wild west" feel. That also goes with the audio effect. Again, cool. But it sounds like they're under water. I would remove the effects, you don't need them.

Positives: Storytelling is really strong. Love the shot where the boyfriend is following behind the couple.

Improvements: Acting is not the best but not much you can do about that sometimes. Lighting and camera could have felt more cinematic at some places.
