In this silent film, a man finds his way back to his humanity not through addiction, but by a girl.

Judge 1

Positives: With how windy it was shooting the first scene, going with a silent film was probably a good call :) That format worked for this story. Actors were likable and had good screen presence.

Improvements: I had too much to read as a viewer - it was hard to follow at points. The closing song was overpowering the story, and without natural sounds, it felt more like a music video (which is fun, but takes you out of the story). Mostly though, the boy-meets-girl thing has been done so much, you have to find your own way to show those moments where a relationship grows. Find real, relatable moments that people will have no choice falling in love with as viewers.
