This weekly newscast is written, produced, directed, shot and edited by the Advanced Television class and takes a look at both local and national headlines!

Judge 1

Positives: The packages were well edited. I was impressed with the topics you chose. They are definitely topics in the news, but I was happy to see students taking an interest and discussing them.

Improvements: The two of you need to get a little more comfortable with each other. When you're sitting on the desk imagine you're just having a conversation with each other. That might help you loosen up. This is a skill that takes time. You guys are young and I think you have a lot of promise. I would've done more 2 shots on the desk together. You were addressing each other but it was a little awkward because it would just be one of you with a graphic. Producing a show is tricky but trust me, the more you do it the better you will get. It's not an easy task.
