Judge 1

Positives: This is a bold topic and I commend you for speaking about it in a strong and non- apologetic way. The visuals of the opening 18 seconds are very powerful. It sets the tone for the rest of your piece.

Improvements: I'm not clear if the African-American interviewee is discussing racial bias or LGBT bias. If I just watched that segment I would think you were making a raced-based statement. Try to make the V.O. over the open be as powerful and poetic as the visuals. When I look at the visuals only inn that section it makes me feel the people you are showing truly care about each other. Why would anyone want to destroy that? That subtlety and power is not reflected by the words of the V.O. Consider finding one or two more people to interview.

Positives: high production value with the graphics and music

Improvements: While this was a quality PSA, really wasn't much of a PKG, no story-telling, lack of a reporter presence, very preachy, the "Former Student" graphic bothered me. "alumni" may have been a better choice, audio of the one interview sounded very hollow
