I wanted to tell a story of a young couple falling in love by just using my camera. Do you care how their relationship ends? I guess the success of my storytelling will depend on how you feel when it is over?
Positives: Pleasant to watch, good use of the city. I thought it worked well how you set up (and didn't right away tell the viewer) that the girl wasn't there in the present. This can be a challenge. Fast editing kept it moving.
Improvements: Don't lean so heavily on such a strong song. It overpowered the video. The camera work was a bit shaky, and composition could use some work. While good for the video and somewhat touching, I don't buy the main characters actions as genuine. Not sure if that's acting, directing or story. Possibly a combination of all three.
Positives: Great story, super emotional. Loved it Use of natural light was top notch work.
Improvements: I feel like the you could have use different color corrections to drive home the past vs. present feelings, by adding a tint of color to past so it shows its a mental thought of the main character. While to coldplay song was a lovely choice, i feel like you could have picked an even more emotional piano riff, maybe added sound design
