Entry Description

There is always that kid who asks way to early to prom, but what happens when a girl is inspired a bit too much by an extra commercial?

Judge 1

Positives: Nice work with some of the camera angles. Great use of the prop gum to carry the plot.

Improvements: Some of the framing cut some heads off. Maybe let the shot breathe a little more. A few shots were very contrasty. It looked like the iris was pushed a little hard at times.

Judge 2

Positives: The juxtaposition of the music from the original commercial and humorous story struck a nice balance. I enjoyed watching the character arch of the man, who goes on seemingly unaware of his stalker.

Improvements: Direction of the female lead should be have been congruent with her character arch. I understand that she was a stalker, but her facial expression was the same in every shot. Those expressions should build, just like the story.
