Entry Description

On today's program, we explore students helping fellow students with intellectual disabilities, students advocating for the elderly within our community, we visit an out of the box interdisciplinary art project, and finally, the boys' winning soccer team. This is Warrior Wakeup!

Judge 1

Positives: Your school is awesome!! I absolutely loved the stories you covered. You guys did a great job, you should be really proud of yourselves. I thought the Nats sound pieces were excellent. Sometimes it's best just to let the people tell the story instead of the reporter. The soccer piece was great too. Nice job interviewing the coach and making it interesting. You did a really nice job editing the packages. This was the best newscast I saw. Keep up the good work.

Improvements: since I have to name two things that could be improved, I will let you know both are extremely small changes. When you tossed to the first package, I wouldn't have said, "here's my story." I might have gone with something along the lines of" "I had the chance to attend the dance and talk to students." There was another package and the anchor toss was too similar to what the reporter said in the first track.
