Entry Description

This is a music video. Conceptualized and created by Spencer and Morgan. All original dance choreographed by Morgan.

Judge 1

Positives: The editing went well with the music. I liked some of the racked out shots (out of focus).

Improvements: The story could have been defined better with more establishing shots. Bedroom shot in mirror, the lighting was dull and could use some more light.

Judge 2

Positives: Choreography was good, and the lighting in the "christmas lights" shots was very nice. Actor portrayed some nice emotional depth, though I was unsure what, exactly was troubling her. Some good creative shot choices, too.

Improvements: Though the "Christmas lights" scene was very nicely lit, and many of your shots were nicely composed, I felt the the color and lighting in many of the other shots could have been more dramatic. As far as the narrative, I wasn't sure what the conflict was. Was she unhappy with her job? If so, it would be good to make that more clear visually, and then show how her dancing gives her an escape from that unhappiness.
