There's nothing like a cinematic view of home.
Positives: Really great script. It told the story well. Great-tie in to national concept. The video was shot well and the effects work with the concept. Excellent sound mixing.
Improvements: The walking shots got a little boring. I would recommend mixing in some actual "store fronts and side walks" to reinforce the copy. You're trying to highlight your town, show it.
Positives: Well shot and edited, natural and appealing AVO performance.
Improvements: Unfortunately this piece does not feel original - it feels like a version of the Pure Michigan tourism campaign. I do think that mimicking this work has allowed the student to put together something that feels quite polished, but I would push for more originality in concept.
