This is an excerpt from the live coverage of the Boys' Basketball Blackout game.

Judge 1

Positives: The audio quality was good even as the announcers got really excited. The camera one operator was doing a good job following the action and the composition was very good most of the time.

Improvements: The announcers need to dial back the excitement a bit. It is going to be a long listen if they are trying to keep that level the whole game. Need to find a balance and then use that kind of excitement for a big moment. The first couple baskets of the game are not the time for a level of their calls. Secondly, the director is very close to having it down. He/she was doing a good job using all the cameras but you need to use them to tell a story. After a basket, use the other three cameras to show who scored. The tight shot of the scorer helps tell a story. Using a HH camera to inbound the ball should be saved for dead balls.
