In addition, pacing of the scenes is consistent with narration and the audio track. I like what you were trying do to with this story, but the narrative did present you with some challenges relating to the passage of time. At times it seems the protagonist exists in a world outside of the one he is describing. As a result, some elements appeared anachronistic.
