Island in the Sun - Weezer Synopsis: A boy learns the truth about growing up as relationships he once had fade away with time. This music video shows a boy as a young child for the first half of the video, and then transitions to when he is older. The older version of him reflects on the life he once had and realizes some things just weren't meant to be.

• 3/3 1:44 pm - Good use of lighting. Use of tranisitions were not consistent- going to memory one time was not the same as the next time. Use of slow motion was good, but awkward when it cuts right back into full speed. Tracking shots were done well- slider shots too. Saw a couple cameraman shadows. Story was cute- acting was ok. Editing did not seem to have any direction- edits were not done to the beat and had no consistency. You can never rely on a tripod enough! Overall, it was a fell good video with a twist at the end.
• 2/28 11:55 am - Good use of a variety of shots. Great worms eye shot of the child going down the slide. At times the camerawork could be a little more stable and fluid. Good idea using the transition from the child to the teenager. One suggestion to would be to edit more to the tempo of the music.

Positives: Excellent camera work and use of natural light and optical flares. Your story was very easy to follow and the little kid was awesome.

Improvements: It may have been a bandwidth issue, or an export setting, but the entire video felt out of focus.

Positives: Great camera work. Good acting. Interesting narrative and story with music.

Improvements: Seemed a bit too long on play ground at the start. Needed more balance with older life and younger life.
