- 4/28 5:18 am - Powerful opener, NAT sound is amazing!, create lighting, would have like cleaner/tighter frame on the interviews, nice complimentary music, good medical information, could argue as PSA, great piece!
- 4/27 7:59 pm - While the re-enactments were produced/shot/edited very well, it was kind of awkward to see them juxtaposed against the interviews, because re-enactment-type shows always hire actors to portray the folks in the stories.
Piece eventually got too talking head-heavy.
Also came away with the feeling that this was heavy on PSA-type value and light on storytelling.
Shooting, editing were solid.
- 4/9 2:39 pm - Good intro. Nice use of audio from 911 call. Father’s explanation was very thorough, if a tad redundant. The cuts back to re-enactment in slo-mo were very effective. One small, picky thing: Say “Based on” instead of “Based off of” in the opening title.

Positives: Well done. Love the way you started and ended the Doc. The story was clear, direct and important. The use of the re-enactment was very well done. Not an easy task to make those work. Pacing was nearly perfect but a few interview bites were slightly rushed.
Improvements: Head room on the interviews could be a little tighter.

Positives: The reenactments and audio of the 911 call are very powerful.
Improvements: Some of the shots were dark, lighting could have been improved. Lighting on the interviews could be improved utilizing 3 point lighting
