• 3/7 1:29 pm - Great story and concept! Great job managing audio throughout; solid editing. SUGGESTIONS: there are multiple lighting issues, inconsistent lighting strategy, backlighting problems. Scout your locations ahead of time and plan for consistency during pre-production.
• 3/6 6:05 pm - Awesome message, and the edit was very well done. I appreciated the different backgrounds of the shots too. One thing I would revise would be the ending and have it build from one student saying, together, to two students, to three, and etc. Something like that to show the together-ness of yoru school. But again, I loved the message - wonderfully done.

Judge 1

Positives: -Framing of shots is appropriate. -non-Intrusive music selection. -Fine use of depth of field.

Improvements: -Lack of variety in framing. -Conspicuous lav placement. -Audio presence not mitigated, creating some noticeable cuts. -It was a mistake to use the shot of the two people speaking together in which the audio is way too hot. -I suspect a shotgun mic would have been better employed in this piece.

Positives: the concept of the video was well thought of and overall it seemed like it was brought to life pretty well.

Improvements: some of the interviewies seemed underprepared. cut the "I'm" part shorter it was getting repetitive.
