A :30 commercial promoting the airing of a documentary on a broadcast of CPTV.
Positives: Nice camera work - appreciate the varied film speeds, with a nice variety of camera angles that feel Nice edit - it flows with the music's tempo and evokes emotion in the viewer.
Improvements: Unfortunately it's not clear what is being advertised.
Positives: Good audio editing to get the 30 seconds exactly. Really solid video editing with the cuts on the beats. Color treatment is nice. I particularly liked the shots at :06 and :18...I think some more creative angles like these could strengthen the piece. A shot from the audience (the "home") of the jump ball or something like that.
Improvements: The story I didn't quite understand in the 30 seconds. Maybe adding in some descriptive single words along the way to help me know what the documentary will show/tell me. "There's" - "No" - "Place" -"Like" - "Home" as it builds, maybe they're revealed behind parts of the shot and they show up...some After Effects work there. :11 the one shot of the other team...seems like it shouldn't have been in there.
