  • 3/7 11:10 am - Story was well written and informative. Wish there was more connection between voice over and soundbites. Some soundbites just pop up with no introduction. Audio levels were good but could have been more enthusiastic. The variety of shots enhanced the story.
  • 3/5 3:37 pm - A great story that showcases the hard work of media students. The voice over is clear, but could be more engaging. All of the b-roll is great -- a nice variety of wide, medium, and tight on and off the field. I like that you let your audience know how to get involved and how to watch the broadcasts.

Positives: - The interviews are framed nicely. - Nice b-roll!

Improvements: - Natural sound of the students working on the broadcast would add to the story. A few seconds at the very beginning of the piece would be nice, as well as sprinkled throughout. - The opening shot of the keyboard is dry. Natural sound of students cheering at a game or cheerleaders would be much more effective. Another way to open the piece is natural sound of the crew working on the broadcast, as I said above.

Positives: Good use of voice-over and b-roll. Good camera work throughout.

Improvements: Narrator needed to be more authoritative, own the story more. Nat Sot could have been more effective if it was a bit louder. Use of sound up full in a few places (fans, game) would reflect excitement more. While camerawork was good, would have liked to have seen more movement in some of the shots such as on the football field, shooting the camera crew and the fans. These are active scenes but are shot only from the tripod. Hand -held in some shots would add energy. ( that said, still good camerawork!)
