• 3/23 11:06 am - Solid anchor tease, polished opening (nice drone shots) / Fundraiser run is well shot, but VO is flat- and story not that engaging beyond visuals / ASL solid story- good b-roll, interviews, teacher sit-down is a little bright or has odd filter on it (not egregious though) Ambitious doing standups in various locations rather than studio…/ Trivia bit is fun divergence / Pizza story… not much of a story (who, what , where, when…) / iPhone bit fun… production values could be stronger / Sports update is solid—good VO writing, deliveries / Transition to guys in car bit- awkward--- the bit itself is confusing to lay viewers (where’s the anchor)??
• 2/27 2:32 pm - Enjoyed the program intro, diverse range of school activities present in it. Color run story was well-produced, good combination of drone shots with standard ENG shots as well. Main anchor talent does a good job on camera; has a presence. Sign language story was well done-- the closed captioning was a nice touch that was relevant to the story...main interview shot looked a little overexposed. Audio was solid in all segments. Traffic trivia was a fun segment. (hopefully nobody gets upset when they're looking silly with their responses?) I guess my only criticism would be what overall tone are you going for with this program? It's well done but jumps from typical news stories to the Iphone commentary as well as the Indiana away game narrative. Overall, a good program and well produced, just decide what kind of news program is it going to be..?

Positives: Loved the opening montage! The trivia segment is fun! Good variety of stories and information. Good use of broll.

Improvements: The VOs need more energy and to sound less like they're being read. The music dropped out suddenly going into the trivia piece. Make sure that you're always prepping your interview subjects so that they have energy and can be thoughtful about what they're answering.

Positives: Really loved the aerial shots in the color run pkg Overall nice job Good job editing packages

Improvements: small thing: in the color run pkg you referenced the name of the dj's Since we didn't see them, there was no need to include their names I have a feeling subtitles were put on the ASL piece for a reason. It seemed a big distracting and probably would've just been fine to use at the very end.
