  • 4/27 8:52 pm - Need subtle instrumental around -28db to enhance mood, not create one. Never felt an emotional connection to the main subject. Not sold on JFK and MLK as being necessary components of this story. Technical aspects were well-executed.
  • 4/26 5:40 pm - This is a very engaging piece. The archival footage with the voice over of a Holocaust survivor is moving. There is an interesting irony in the juxtaposition of the Mr. Harris speaking of freedom with President Kennedy talking about freedom in post-war Germany. Going on to Dr. King breaks the connection, though. This video reads more like a meditation or a performance than a documentary. More on the life of Mr. Harris and the path he followed to America and to this time would make the story a documentary of an individual's survival. It could make his reading a good summation of his life and a point of interest in that he wrote it sixty some years ago.
