  • 4/27 9:03 pm - The demo was easy to follow and clearly mapped out! The host led the tutorial at a great pace and effectively. Some feedback for consideration: the lighting could have been improved, and some of the shots felt distant and too far away from the action.
  • 3/7 10:50 am - Nice demonstration, with showing finished product, listing ingredients and equipment, cool project, wardrobe, and fun font use. Music was a bit intrusive and ended abruptly. Plan more variety of shots (overhead) and watch focus. You might consider avoiding fast motion in lieu of other ways to compress time.
  • 3/6 10:01 pm - Good production design, overall. The christmas music coupled with the props in the kitchen set the tone for the demonstration show. The steps were all clear and nothing was left out. Some of the camera shots had soft focus. Also, the host needed to start the show off by giving the viewers a reason to build the krispy treat tree. Always make sure you explain to an audience why they should care about what they're about to see.

Positives: Good graphics with props for ingredients and equipment. Goo music.

Improvements: Ended abruptly. Some long shots made it hard to see what was going on. Felt rushed.

Judge 2

Positives: The setting was fun to look at. It was clearly a Christmas themed demo. The lay out of what one would need to make the tree was clear

Improvements: The ending was abrupt. I think there could have been an extra beat...displaying of the tree or eating of the tree. Was the microphone in the beginning necessary? The lighting was a bit dark.

Positives: This is a very upbeat piece. Excellent art direction in the opening sequence. The decorations in the foreground and on the stove really set the tone for the rest of the piece. The text was easy to read supported the feel of your piece.

Improvements: Your project ends too abruptly. Show off the completed tree at the end. The instant you finish talking the music and picture fade out. Let your video run for a few seconds after the voice track ends. Then fade out the music and video.
