RBTV Celebrates the Holiday Season with a one hour Special. The segments feature family, friends and local businesses showcasing holiday goodies and entertainment.

• 3/6 12:01 pm - Good opening graphics. Looks like a really ambitious show! Very nice little interview with the guest. Maybe more camera shots during the interview—you seem to have more than one camera.
• 3/1 1:29 pm - Introduction previewed the show creatively and was visually appealing. Talent did a great job.

Judge 1

Positives: Sorry - the clip was really short and was mostly the opening VO, so hard to give really good feedback on what worked well...It's really hard to judge the story, production value or talent. In the future, I'd reconsider what segment of the show you turn in.

Improvements: The opening VO is too slow and needs more energy (talking about what's coming up in the show) - also, this list is way too long, you will lose people's attention. When you're talking to guests, have more specific questions other than "tell me about yourself." That's a really broad question and hard for people to answer. Also, I would "preinterview" subjects so that they have a heads up of what kinds of questions you'll be asking and you'll also know what they're going to say - For example: instead of saying "will you pass this to anyone in your family" you can say "I know that your granddaughter has learned this from you, is cooking together a family tradition?" etc...just a better way to have a more thoughtful conversation. I'd use graphics for things that are in lists, ie recipes.

Judge 2

Positives: -Lighting is proficient. I assume this is in studio with a static set. If not, that's even more impressive. -Show structure seems sound.

Improvements: -Open is slower than the music would suggest, and lasts a full minute. The video clips are too small to be compelling. -Several of mic peaks. -Cuts are suddenly abandoned in favor of dissolves during the demo. This threw me. -Focus on the one-shot is past the host, on the background.
