Tuned In is an educational series featuring the expertise of local music store owner and guitar technician Mike Doerr. Targeted at beginner guitarists, it is focused around the anatomy of popular guitar varieties and the proper maintenance of said instruments. Tuned In is part of a larger show currently airing on Chicago broadcast television.

- 4/27 9:07 pm - Interesting and effective choice having the demonstration set up as a package; B-roll at the start (of guitars) was engaging and put together well. Knowledgeable subject interviewed. Some stale shots of the guitar during the demonstration dragged on: consider how to break this up to keep us hooked.

Camera angles might be adjusted to keep hands from blocking shots/action. Overall, felt more like an informative show than a how-to or demo of a process with clear instruction to the viewer.

As a guitar player and enthusiast, I thought this was a very interesting video. Camera shots, lighting and audio were all excellent. The issue is that this program did not clearly demonstrate anything in a step-by-step manner. It provided more of an overview of different things associated with a guitar and a guitar shop. For this category you needed to focus on a more singular purpose. From a story perspective, this did not quite fit the category according to the demonstration show judging rubric.
