• 4/27 5:07 pm - I liked the choice of not using dialogue. Natural sound combined with sound effects/music works very well. Package opening at the end with sound effects is a great ending. Shots are well composed.
• 3/22 7:49 am - The fades between each new shot in the beginning works very well with the storyline, and adds more character to it than a cut would in the end. The sound of the beating heart and the music are pretty even together, and showcase the feelings Robert is going through. The POV shots of the letters and package also put the viewer into Roberts’ shoes.
• 3/6 4:15 pm - The story concept was very strong and the editing was a strength in this trailer that makes it very compelling to watch. The camera work was inconsistent. Many shots were soft focus and a sharp picture, especially for close ups and extreme close ups, are monumentally important. The sounds editing helped drive the suspense and the cliffhanger ending adds an element that really helps sell the trailer.

Positives: Good editing, good use of camera angles.

Improvements: Increase the volume on the natural sounds to add reality to the location, otherwise the score takes over too much. try to build more suspense throughout the piece - the score starts dark from the beginning as opposed to changing when he starts to find the same letter in so many other places.

Improvements: Story was a little confusing and not quite sure what was going on. Maybe the use of a VO or titles could have helped.
