  • 3/22 7:47 am - Each scene is well framed, no one’s head is cut off without a purpose, and you can tell exactly who the focus is in every shot. Lighting through and through is even, there’s little scenes with over exposure. The juxtaposition of what Richard wants versus what actually happens adds character to the storyline.
  • 3/6 3:50 pm - The story was fun and made the trailer interesting to watch. The sound quality in some of the scenes need work. The camera work made the project seemed rushed. There were a lot of shots that had soft focus and many of the scenes were from awkward angles that did not properly show the action. Always be sure that you scene composition serves the story and shows what you want the audience to see.

Positives: PERFECT soundtrack to match the tone of the piece. Nice moments of comedy throughout.

Improvements: Overall, this piece felt more like a montage or series of abbreviated scenes from the short film. It didn't quite have the cadence of a trailer – except in the opening. Audio/dialogue recording can be improved, and use of additional light to build on available light can help set tone.

Positives: Funny! Great use of your environments to tell a story.

Improvements: Some quicker cuts and using more clips would make this feel like a bigger movie.
