Judge 1

Positives: The use of sound to help tell the story throughout was great! The distortion of the voices that the cops are hearing through their headset and the sounds the different tools made as they tried (and failed) to cut the pie worked super well to put us in the perspective of the cops. It let us hear what they were hearing and made everything feel that much more realistic. The timer ticking and all of the music choices did an amazing job to both build tension and capture the emotions of the scene. Great use of costumes and props to really sell the story! The suits, sunglasses, tools, pie, book and bandages all looked great and helped to create the world of the piece. Also, the ambulance and stretcher were awesome at the end and really showed that you went the extra mile!

Improvements: Check some of your cuts to make sure they match! There are some jumpcuts that end up being a little distracting. Some of the dialogue throughout could have been trimmed down a little bit. The beginning and the end were really well paced, but the middle got a little bit long and weighed the piece down a little. Some of the lines were really funny but got lost in how much back and forth dialogue there was.

Positives: Humor was perfect. I liked the glasses bit and the flashback. Concept overall was just hysterical in general. good work.

Improvements: Sound could be improved. The dialogue was very soft, making it difficult to understand some of the lines. Took away from the humor at points.
