• 3/11 3:41 pm - Story: From a story perspective, I don’t think this works especially well. She calls a guy as he’s getting stabbed, she creeps down the stairs and finds a table where someone has been eating eggs, she’s back in bed, creeps some more, and runs outside and gets run over. Not a very strong or cohesive story. It feels more like a sequence of shot ideas to me. Camera: Some interesting ideas. Unfortunately, your have lighting and focus issues that diminish the effectiveness of your visual concepts. Lighting: Some effective use of lighting. Shooting in low light is pretty challenging, and I don’t think you overcome all of them, but I admire your ambition. Sound: Again, some good work here. Appropriately creepy music. Appropriately shocking sound FX. Editing: Good in a general sense. I think you over-rely on fade outs. Kind of gives the piece a slow, plodding feel. Final Thoughts: Ambitious project. Keep at it.
