  • 4/23 7:55 pm - More a promotion than a traditional documentary. Tough to compete with human interest/social conscience pieces.
  • 3/8 3:58 pm - Interesting idea, but the “Voice of God” narration feels old-school (what many often mistake as “documentary”). The original shots are shaky - why not a tripod? The music competes with the sound bites - lower the levels! Backgrounds to interviews seem random or not very considered. Surprised to see the lav cable hanging from Craig’s shirt (run it underneath). Some of the edits have a frame or two of black… Turn off autofocus- it pulses on some interviews. Lighting on interview subjects is uneven - some are well-lit, some are too dark. Overall, informative documentary, but rather staid in execution.
  • 3/5 3:34 pm - That's a cool idea for a story: history of a program you are a part of. I wish you got a little more personal with the people you have interviewed. It would be a lot more interesting to hear them stuff they remember, mistakes, problems, etc. The music is competing for attention and getting in the way of your story.
