  • 4/24 11:36 am - The lighting was too dark on the studio shots. The composition was poor. Beautiful composition on the food. I really liked how you edited in the small squares to show the food. Nice rack focus used. Good use of swish pan transition.
  • 4/16 8:48 am - Very effective television demonstration. Technically solid although a couple shots are clearly out of focus Audio of the female is a little low at times. Some of the shots are very unsteady. Hosts are terrific and connect with audience really well.
  • 3/5 6:05 pm - Positives: Talent was professional and energetic. The variety of camera shots really added to the production value. Improvements: The Cooking Addition or Edition? Camera had some issue with focus at times. Should this have been entered in the demonstration category?

Positives: Cool shots showing all the ingredients at :44 Really creative shot at 2:12 to transition between talent Overall, good use of different shots and editing to show everything as it was added.

Improvements: In the beginning, there was only a name banner for one of the the hosts At 1:21, is she tasting the bacon or chewing gum? If she tasted the bacon then show me 2:23 and 2:27 look like identical shots. I understand that there are 2 cans but this looked odd Would be helpful if you put information banners about the ingredients as you added them to remind people how much of each

Positives: Cute show. It's not easy to do a cooking show. Chase and Lo give a nice intro to set up the cooking episode. They personalize what they are getting ready to do. I like how he connects this dish to his summer vacations on Martha's Vineyard. They take us on their little adventure. Chase and Lo have great chemistry. They make you want to try this dish (even though I know this is something I would never eat) and they make you want to check out their "shenanigans" in other episodes of their show.

Improvements: There are some lighting issues. This was a very ambitious episode because it's not easy to film a cooking segment in a non-professional setting. The recipe graphics could be a little stronger but over all a very engaging piece.
