Oprah's Golden Globe Speech caused many to make claims that she is going to run for president. This segment involves students and teachers talking about their feelings on celebrities such as Oprah running for president and the legitimate possibility of this becoming a trend.

• 4/25 9:54 am - Good job crediting your opening footage. Hazim’s framing is a little off – a little too much talking space. Nice lower-thirds. Try not to repeat broll. Jim’s framing is a little off too. A little shocked to see the stand-up at the end – I would’ve like to have seen an opening stand-up in that case as well.
• 3/12 8:40 pm - I really like the nat sound open, very good decision. Bring the viewer into the story. The first narration says "this isn't the time a celebrity has thought of running for president as Donald Trump is currently President". Be careful to not state the obvious a filler, use narration to further the story. First interview was good to give some student voice and analysis. Second interview contradicts himself. Kayne and Hanks/Johnson were both not serious about running, but you make it out to be as if they were. Teacher bite was good. End stand-up was in a random location, unreferenced, and didn't further the story at all.
• 3/9 10:00 pm - The source was a little hard to see, interviews didn't have a powerful impact on the package. I did however think the history teachers interview his comments were relevant and the lower 3rd looked nice.
• 3/2 10:18 am - Outside b-roll cited; video matches reporter track; there is a lot of outside b-roll and nothing original other than the interviews. The interviews should also be more purposeful (student interviews) and not random. The history teacher interview is appropriate. Nice stand-up. Framed well with the classroom background.

Positives: Good production value throughout the piece. Good story idea for your audience.

Improvements: Story needed a little more depth into the concept of celebrities as politicians. Had some lighting issues an interview segments.

Positives: love that you started the piece out with a great nat pop and that you rolled the speech under your broll EXCELLENT storytelling about backing up the historical facts and opinion interviews that are diverse and showcase balanced opinions. excellent use of news broll, interviews, etc-- very very well done

Improvements: continue to challenge your set up shots for interviews- maybe add some motion to it.

Positives: Good tight shots of your interviews – would mix it up on what side of screen they are on Nice use of nats under your track for much of the piece Good use of video over sot – don’t be afraid to bring up the nats a bit more there Nice use of that Kanye soundbite -- wrote into it well

Improvements: Good use of nat sound in certain parts, but for some reason not at the end, when you covered the teacher's sot. When we see Oprah and other broll should have nats under the sound bite. Oprah soundbite off the top was strong -- would have tried to get a tighter edit on it -- take out the "that" off the top Standup close – if you don’t want to walk/don’t have a reason to, consider having a push in with the camera
