• 3/9 11:07 am - Interesting story but I don't hear a lot of natural audio.There is a clip at the end of the truck/cars driving through the water but I didn't hear a lot of natural audio. Whenever you have footage that was shot on a phone in a vertical position, consider creating a second layer of the same footage behind your original layer, expand it to fill the screen and blur it heavily. This will fill the screen and make it a little more visual. Make sure to credit any outside footage used whenever on screen.
• 3/9 10:41 am - Overall, a powerful story topic. Good introduction with the news clip. Would have been great to have that teacher mic’ed up while in Puerto Rico to get her reactions to what she’s seeing and experiencing - that would have made for some great natural audio. Good use of the b-roll that was available to you.
• 2/27 8:46 am - Definitely a great subject to cover with incredible potential for natural sound. One suggestion for improvement would be to have the opening news anchor filmed and edited by students. The first voiceover interview overlaps the intro. I do not hear any natural sounds filmed by students in the beginning. At 52 seconds in it would sound better if the people on camera were wearing a mic. Great shot at 1 min 26 seconds. Turn your phone horizontal when filming.
