Slow motion running, tan athletic lifeguards, and sandy beaches are just some of the things Baywatch is known for. Now Baywatch is brought to a pool run by fully qualified teenage lifeguards. Athletic and tan? Maybe. Slow motion running? Of course not! There is no running on the pool deck. Fun without those sandy beaches? Definitely! Join us at Northside Aquatics for your hometown version of Baywatch. We may not be stardom-ready like David Hasselhoff, but we will always be there for you.

  • 3/11 8:32 pm - Nice parady of the Baywatch theme....is the commercial about comimg to swim or about the lifeguards or getting a lifeguard job? I do like the opening montage but then the shots seem to be a bit disjointed. Underwater shot is cool but the story doesn't have a cohesive feel to it.
  • 3/9 12:13 pm - The Baywatch connection is funny at first, but soon loses its ability to be persuasive in that as a viewer I am waiting for more “Baywatch” shot-for-shot remakes (we only get one slow motion shot). If you are going to use music in an associative way, you have to make sure to pull off the drama with the composition as well. Overall as a commercial to get me to that pool, It was not persuasive. Sound lacked sound effects. Cinematography had a home video feel to it. The color that was used to add to the “Baywatch” vibe was fine. Editing was done with no clear reason. It lacked cinematic shots of the venue and amenities.
  • 3/5 9:13 pm - Strengths: I appreciate the throwback and even putting the commercial in the old SD aspect ratio is humorous. I think the font choice works well for this piece as well. Nice attention to detail. Room for Improvement: It would have been nice to see some CU or MS's of peoples faces. There is not great shot variety as most of them are WS's. The coloring seems a bit different in every shot.
