  • 4/26 7:42 am - Great talent cam. Great replays, but take them clean/without chyron - just like the pros do. Good use of traditional cam configuration.
  • 4/25 8:49 am - Nice use of replay the first time, not sure why it was used the second time to show a blown layup. Don't like switching to camera underneath the basket while the ball is in the corner and it's trying to follow the shot, very difficult to follow. It is a great shot during free throws but I can't see the offensive or defensive setup when the shot is from behind the basket. Announcers are ok but don't really add a lot to the broadcast.
  • 3/12 8:43 am - Announcers did a good job of interjecting some personality into their call. I like the "game of the week" wipe, but it took me a second to realize that it was being used for a replay. It would be nice to have that definitive analysis for the replay, tell us why that's important to see again. It sounds like you guys have some boundary mics placed on the floor and that gives a nice "NBA" audio touch, we can hear the shoes, the ball hitting the floor etc. There's also a mic on the backboard which also adds some pro-value to what you've done here-- very nice.
  • 3/3 9:52 am - Positive: That was really good commentary. So many times, I watch these high school games, and although the play by play is good, it lacks the human element. These guys were witty, liked the game, had great depth of knowledge about players and the game and got along well with each other. The top camera, coupled with the two side cameras, gave us a good perspective on the game.
  • 3/3 9:52 am - Improvements: Besides the scoreboard, it lacked the graphics for player names (like for a free throw situation). The editing got predictable. Just because the ball goes over half-court, we shouldn't always cut to the sideline shot. Use it wisely, but also let the top camera give us a healthy viewpoint on the game.
