A fast paced video bringing you through Batavia Bulldogs journey towards a state title.
Positives: Camera - There is some excellent work here. Example - play is broken up, snap pan to coach with arms raised. Great presence of mind, excellent composition. Generally, the game footage is quite good. Sound - But for a moment early on, the sound is nothing I noticed much. This is very good. SOT mixed well with track.
Improvements: Editing - Abandoned cutting to the music early on. The pace and tempo should be congruent between track and video. Or, at least, consistent. Especially in the highlight-reel that opens up the piece. Camera - Ride that iris. A bit too open during many on-field shots. Pull that focus. Excellent follows, the focus should come with it. Of course, once you can do that reliably you're ready for well-paid job, so don't sweat it too much. Sound - When the music bed gives way to SOT alone, it should not feel empty. I shouldn't notice this happened unless it helps the 'feeling'. Or keep some music under. Story - I'd not have known there is a story but for the text on screen. If there are clips from sideline speeches, rallies, locker room speeches, etc., that'd carry the story without a narrator. Don't know if that media exists, but it'd be nice if it were there.
Positives: there was a good variation of footage. the cuts matching with sound of music
Improvements: camera was shaky at times, could get redundant after 2 minutes
Positives: Nice job editing to the beat of the music and sound effects. Good job by camera guys capturing the plays at the right times and staying with the action.
Improvements: Overall it was too long. It could have been a 1:00 hype piece. I lost interest after a minute. You want to keep the audience's attention from start to finish.
