  • 3/13 11:23 am - Some great videography! Great sunset shot, snow on widnshield, winter landscapes towards the end. Really beautiful shots. But your pacing is too slow. Give your viewer more to look at. Where’s the story? Give the viewer something to follow.
  • 3/7 2:03 pm - This is a video set to music. The shots looked great- great color, composition, framing- you can tell each shot was planned took some time to set up. But after the first verse (where the lyrics matched the shots we were seeing) it was just a bunch of shots of a town put to music. These could be great shots for a commercial for the town, or shots to put in your cinematography reel. Perhaps adding a singer to the video would strengthen the video's credibility as a music video. Be careful on indoor shots- for example, the basketball shot got really dark compared to everything else. There were some really LONG shots too- and not sure why. Some of the longest shots were of a tree, or of a fence. The shot looked nice, but kept waiting for something to happen and it never did. Try to keep a good pace in the video- edit to the beat and look for multiple angles of your shots to add variety. Major audio jump cut at the end of the video- probably to make the time constraint- but work that to make it sound seamless. Love your shot selection, but need to strengthen your storyline to be a great music video.
