  • 4/18 11:11 am - I would have liked to see more video illustrating all of the steps, especially the first step since there was none. A variance in shot composition of the host on the couch would have helped carry the video. The intro/outro graphic is very fitting to the piece. The audio was clean and clear throughout.
  • 3/12 11:03 am - Nice opening graphic and sound. Lighting of Austin could be brighter. Maybe have special sound transition for step graphics. Clearly, this is a parody, so it’s hard to judge the steps. To add more humor, you could have more shots—like reaction shots from the people you are flirting with. Or you could take the steps even further so they are even more absurd—like showing yourself dousing yourself with numerous bottles of Axe.

  • 3/9 5:19 pm - what works great concept, with humorous touches and good on camera presence for host. original jingle nice for opening. maybe this could be an ongoing series? what could make it better show all steps. particularly missing is first step. host could be seen less and more time devoted to seeing steps. stay in character. could look more professor like. more variety to the shots/camera angles. no real ending to the process before ending the show.
  • 3/7 9:56 pm - The original A Capella song at the beginning and end of the video is a great addition and it's a very impressive add in. Your graphics match the tone of your piece and you produced a great audio mix in terms of dialogue quality mixed with backing music. The camera work is good, though not particularly memorable or challenging. The piece was a decent attempt at humor and the host has a good demeanor, but, as a whole, the demonstration show was not very active. For example the first step discusses what to do, but there is no visualization of that step. Where's the guy putting on all of the Axe? I need to see that! The framing of the host in a seated position could have been improved upon. Why not have him in a chair at an angle to the wall with some vases, flowers, etc.? Overall, it was a good attempt at humor and the host has a lot of natural charisma, but I feel that it missed the mark.
