  • 3/13 11:09 am - The "old-timey" gimmick is inconsistently executed, mixed with more contemporary effects & color footage. Lack of composition variety and shot variety holds this piece back as well.
  • 3/13 11:08 am - Good idea to use humor to draw attention to issues, but clips include other behavior that wouldn't be considered appropriate, creating a mixed message.
  • 3/8 4:51 pm - STRENGTHS - Love the throwback vibe and subtle humor. It was actually very useful while being very funny. QUESTIONS / SUGGESTIONS - Why did you choose music that felt 1950's or 1960's but then used VHS effects that felt 1980's - 1990's? Also the VHS effect at the end felt like it was too long.
  • 3/3 10:08 am - Positives: It tried to take humor to make people think about their actions in the hallways. I think it brought awareness to those that might fall into one of these categories. I thought the music choice was pretty good.
  • 3/3 10:08 am - Improvements: You don't want to have a PSA focus on one issue but disregard another societal issue. You often used bullying or aggression to show your anger. We don't want students feeling like they can be aggressive to those who aren't meeting the hallway standards. Also, you start with real voice. If you would have continued that process, it would have been stronger messaging. Let the guy introduce every new situation and talk through right and wrong. Mostly, I just didn't like this PSA because it came across as mocking. Humor is a really hard thing to pull off well. This was funny, but it was a bit aggressive.
