  • 4/24 8:58 pm - Good visual variety. Technically sound. Tough to compete with human interest/social conscience pieces entered in this category.
  • 3/9 11:17 am - Strong opening. Good interview with nat light, but she’s swinging and she's framed in the center… No nat sound… Starting to wonder why this is a documentary -feels like a conventional new package. There’s little sound or follow action- is it a documentary due to the longer duration? Disappointing not to have nat sound showing the dynamism - we are “told” about it but we never experience it ourselves. The other interviews are solid but are introduced too late in the piece. The edit is simple chop of sound bites and covering with b-roll missing sound What's the narrative arc beyond profile? Lastly- while does Emily get a 5 minute profile - rather than the entire cast? You do not make a compelling case for profiling her alone at this duration.
  • 3/5 4:29 pm - Great little TV story, solid interviews, good b-roll, sound is clean. Thank you for not putting music over EVERYTHING! I fail to see, however, what is so special about Emily...
