  • 4/26 7:35 am - Take tight cam quicker. Follow punt wider. The ball should be in every action shot - especially the wide cam shots, which is always the "safety cam."
  • 4/25 8:33 am - Really smooth job. Play-by-play delivery was fluid and color commentary added necessary insight. I felt I had a good feel for the game through their voices. Shots were well thought out. I liked how you showed what you needed to as opposed to just using a bunch of different angles for no reason. Well done!
  • 3/12 8:00 am - Announcers seem to work well with each other and project confident analysis with their descriptions. One of the most important things for a sports production is following the ball and I feel like that could have been executed better. There are multiple cameras in use but it didn't seem like the camera switching was very cohesive. Wide to follow the action, then make cuts to a "hero" cam (medium/close) so the viewer can identify the ball carrier/tackler, etc. Graphics worked well at bottom of screen and it would have been easy for a viewer to see what's going on when tuning in.
  • 3/3 9:48 am - Improvements: If you can't do replay, I would try to engage that secondary top camera more. Give that camera person a task so that you can take that shot when needed. For the punt, we lost the ball for the majority of the play. And lastly, I would show some bench, coaches or fan shots as well.
  • 3/3 9:48 am - Positive: The announcers do a great job of keeping us engaged with the game. There is a play by play detail, and some quality commentary as well. If I was only listening to the game, I would have been able to easily follow. I like the use of multiple camera angles. That additional perspective keeps the viewer engaged.

Positives: Announcers seemed well educated on the team. Also, I appreciated the change up of camera angles during game action. Football has it's down moments and those are nicely offset by giving the viewer a different angle as they wait for the next play.

Improvements: The audio for the announcers was poor. They were competing for my attention with the sounds of the game.

Positives: Natural sound was excellent. Could hear cheerleaders, knew it was high school football game. Announcers gave basic information (down and distance, yard line, etc.) which is important. But they also gave opinions on play calls, which is fine. Totally OK to say, 'not sure that was the right call by coach...' esp if its a home town broadcast team. Fans want to hear what announcers have to say beyond call of game.

Improvements: Although there is graphic, give us the score and time left in quarter. Need to say this more often. Would have liked to seen more camera angles (assuming there were more cameras).
