4/25 9:58 am - Opening voice-over is tinny. Not a big fan of the car interview driving the story – poor audio and composition. Music selection is bizarre, strange, and too over-powering. This story screams for nat sound and there is none. Story steers more towards dog ownership than hunting. Interviewee doesn’t need to sign-off. The random 12 seconds of broll at the end is confusing as well – not sure what it does for the story.
3/12 9:02 pm - The narration sound very hollow. Maybe start with a nat sound open. The interview doesn't have to introduce himself especially if he has a name key. Alot going on with his bite, nat sound of the car and some music. Might want to tone that down. Hard to hear the bite. Hunting is a great opportunity for nat sound, didn't take advantage of that. Narration was only at the start and the end. Didn't have variety in interviews.
3/2 10:31 am - Great b-roll - variety and interesting; good sequencing for shooting and dog grabbing the bird; sound bite of subject is too long - use reporter track to break up information; subject driving is a bit awkward; reporter should include a track that gives information rather than an intro and conclusion; music at the end is not necessary for a news package.
