  • 3/4 4:15 pm - Story: On the one hand, your story is pretty thin- some kind of contagion/zombie thing. On the other hand, I like the simplicity and clarity. This trailer isn’t trying to be something it’s not. Camera: Like the premise, your visuals are pretty simple. There’s something eerie about the dolly shots down the halls. The security camera idea is good and effective. It’s all rather basic but executed well. Lighting: No issues here, for me. Solid work. Sound: Well chosen sound bites, edited together well. Good music tracks, good sound FX, levels are all good. Very solid job. Editing: Really well done from an editing standpoint as well. Nice attention to detail. Cool title cards. Audio matches and enhances your visuals nicely. Good stuff. Final thoughts: Good work. I’d love to see you take on something more challenging.

Positives: Like the audio cuts from different news sources, very Hollywood. The security cam footage was a good touch too.

Improvements: A little more video footage of the main character or storyline. The beginning pan down the hall could have added some other security footage maybe.

Judge 2

Positives: Fantastic horror/survival parody! Wonderful roaming tracking shots and clever cut to security camera footage. Though this was more of a teaser, the premise was clear through well-recorded voiceover and an eerie visual style, which make it all the better when it is revealed that the "walkers" are actually "dancers". Nice end GFX.

Improvements: A little more production design could help improve the aesthetic.
