  • 4/12 2:26 pm - A lot of variety in your shots, but it was very difficult to see how they all came together with the music, which isn't essential but it helps the viewer connect with your work. Next time work to match the beats and it will flow much better. The shaky footage was really distracting and the perspectives didn’t connect, so as you move forward spending the necessary time and planning will really help you out.
  • 3/31 5:40 pm - Camera: -Can tell you are thinking about where the camera placed and are not afraid to make some creative choices with the shots that you are shooting - Your movements were, at times, a little shaky, so practice with stabilizing your camera. -I think you can work on getting a little more shot variety--most of your shots are wide, so go ahead and try some close ups, medium shots, dutch angles etc. Lighting: -Most of your shots used natural lighting or used the lighting that was already present in the space. Have some fun with lighting! Show off your understanding of lighting techniques. Editing: -The pacing is mostly appropriate, but sometimes shots hold a little too long on screen without giving us any new information
  • 2/28 5:16 pm - I think you have a natural sense of composition. I would like to see you pay more attention to how you move the camera. Handholding is difficult and takes years of practice to do well. Mount your camera on a tripod and when you pan or tilt, try to do it smoothly. Work on a variety of shots and a variety of lens choices.
