• 3/11 2:01 pm - Story: Bummer that this runs 5:48 and will be disqualified. I think the story is solid and well-told. The V.O. and fantasy pops are cool and relatively underused storytelling device in the MMEA festival. Good performances from your actors. I do think you could pick up the pace a tad, which would keep us interested and may even have gotten you under the 5 minute limit. Camera: Nothing especially dazzling here, but I feel that you covered the scene well. Your compositions are good, no shaky cam (thank you), and you covered everything from enough angles to give yourself plenty to cut with. Lighting: Solid throughout. No real notes here. Sound: Levels seemed good to me. (You could maybe duck down the dialogue a bit more for the V. O.) I like the minstral music for the fantasy pops. Good stuff. Editing: Very solid here too. Nice flow. It all cuts together well. Solid job. Final Thoughts: I really like this. Keep at it.
