• 4/25 9:17 am - Pros - Thematically, there is a clear focus to the project. Good representation of winter in the woods and on the lake through a use of different locations and shot sizes. Cons - There is not enough of a focus on cinematography in this piece. The editing relies too much on the rhythm of the music and not of showcasing dymanic shots. The handheld shots are too shaky and distract the viewer. The environment is attractive but the shots lack variety and could have benefitted from a clear subject in at least a few of the shots. Keep shooting and developing your skillset. Try to include a wider variety of lighting situations and subjectmatter in future work. Choose the best shots that help showcase your range as a cinematographer.
• 3/12 10:51 am - Need a tripod for many of the shots. There is too much motion without purpose. The shots with the waves were nice. Needed more variety of shots
• 3/12 7:47 am - shooting in snow is tough, love the shots that have the sun shining through the clouds. some interesting POV angles behind trees and foliage
