• 3/10 2:24 pm - Story: I probably sound old, but I don’t really get this. The tag line at the end clues me in a bit, but up to that point, I didn’t get it at all. And I have to admit that with the tag, it feels more like a PSA than a short film. Camera: Some interesting shots. Nice variety. Some focus issues. But it’s good to see you experimenting with creative ways to use the camera. I like the integration of Instagram. I’m not sure it all hangs together as a story, but I think you could make this technique work. Lighting: It looks like you used available light for the most part, and it works most of the time. Some low light shots, but not a lot. Sound: I like your music track- appropriately current and upbeat. Sound FX work. Levels seem good. Editing: Pace is nice and quick. Flows well. Final Thoughts: I didn’t really get the story the way you wanted me to, but I like the visual storytelling, and I think this Instagram technique could be very effective.
